Use of Dengue Rapid Test Kit

Ⅰ. The damage of dengue fever

Dengue fever is the world's most serious mosquito-borne viral disease in terms of morbidity and mortality and economic cost.

The virus is mainly transmitted by Aedes aegypti. Dengue outbreaks have been reported in more than 100 countries and 250 million people live in highly infected areas. Each year, 50 to 100 million cases of dengue haemorrhagic fever occur, and 200,000 to 500,000 people infected with dengue eventually develop dengue haemorrhagic fever, with an average of 5% of dengue haemorrhagic fever patients dying.

Ⅱ. Use of dengue rapid test kit

1. Used for qualitative and rapid detection of IgM and IgG antibodies against dengue virus in human serum, plasma, or whole blood.

The dengue fever test kit delivers fast results in 15 minutes. The rapid diagnostic test for dengue is reliable and has a sensitivity and specificity of more than 90%.

The dengue rapid test kit is flexible. The samples can be whole blood, serum, or plasma, which can distinguish the primary infection and secondary infection of dengue fever. The complete test can be carried out, and the products produced by Jianlun Biology can be stored at a normal temperature of 2-30℃, which is easy to store.

2. The dengue rapid test kit is used to qualitatively detect IgM antibodies against the dengue virus in human serum and to assist in the diagnosis of patients with persistent dengue fever in the clinical laboratory.

It is used to detect primary dengue virus infection in both endemic and non-endemic areas and can be used within 3-5 days of the onset of the disease.

3. Used for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies (serotypes 1, 2, 3and 4) against dengue virus in serum. It is used for auxiliary diagnosis of secondary dengue infection in the clinical laboratory.

This IVD kit is designed to detect secondary dengue virus infection and is used as a rapid diagnostic test for dengue in endemic areas.

4. Used for the qualitative detection of NS1 antigen (serotypes 1, 2, 3and 4) against dengue virus in serum. It is used for auxiliary diagnosis of patients with persistent dengue fever in the clinical laboratory.

It is used for the early diagnosis of acute dengue infection in both endemic and non-endemic areas

5. For qualitative detection of IgG antibodies (serotypes 1, 2, 3and 4) against dengue virus in serum, the dengue rapid test kit is used in the clinical laboratory as an auxiliary diagnosis of patients with persistent fever or contact history.

It is designed to detect prior dengue virus infection and is suitable for epidemiological serological studies and non-endemic areas.

6. Used for the qualitative detection of IgM and IgG antibodies against dengue virus in serum. Primary and secondary infections can be distinguished.
