MES is a non-coordinating Good's buffer with a pKa of 6.1, valued in enzyme assays and carbodiimide conjugation chemistry where phosphate, citrate and Tris would interfere. Supplied as monohydrate, with low metal-ion interference.

If your assay depends on a specific tag, on carrier-free material, or on particular impurity limits, state it in your enquiry and we will confirm what is available before you commit — rather than after. For a buffer or preservative line, tag and expression-system fields do not apply.
What documentation accompanies this product?

What are the lead time and minimum quantity?
Lead time and minimum order quantity depend on availability, grade and destination, and are stated on your quotation. Evaluation quantities are available for research groups qualifying a lot against an existing assay.
Can you reserve the same lot for my reorders?
Where stock allows, yes — a consistent lot avoids re-validation work. Ask us at the time of your first order and we will confirm availability rather than promising it later.
